Preschool—The Discovery Class

Older preschool children begin each Sunday in the Rhythm and Roll room for a circle time before attending one of the themed QUUEST rooms. They are able to experience the rotational model using a monthly theme with a variety of learning styles (refer to the page QUUEST for more information). Their teachers serve as both Workshop Leader and Guide to help them feel comfortable in their surroundings.

Their time together also includes circle time, snack and time for songs and games. At 11:00 a.m. they join the younger preschoolers for indoor and outdoor free play supervised by paid childcare givers.

Elementary Age Children

QUUEST, Questioning Unitarian Universalists Each Seeking Truth
Elementary age children take part in a rotational model using a monthly theme and engaging a variety of learning styles. Seekers, (Kindergarten through 1st grade), Explorers (2nd grade through 3rd grade) and Voyagers (4th grade through 6th grade) gather in the Von Stilli Chapel each week before attending one of the themed rooms. The QUUEST board by the Religious Education lounge will let you and your child know which room their group will attend after chapel.
