Our Director of Religious Education, Terry Ward, and our Program Minister, the Reverend Jonalu Johnstone, work closely with the Religious Education Council to determine curricula.  Leaders of our community direct our Sustainable Living and Women's Groups.

9. How is this church governed?
 

Unitarian Universalist congregations are gathered around Congregational Polity.  That means the ultimate responsibility for leading and funding the congregation rests with the congregation.  Policy and Financial Decisions are made by our elected Board of Trustees.  Directions in programming our set by our Church Council, which consists of leaders from our various committees and organizations.  Funding for our church activities, staff, and facility come from voluntary donations from our members and friends.  First Church members called the Reverend Christian as our Parish Minister in 2001.  Reverend Johnstone was called in 2002 and became minister in 2005.
