The first Sustainable Living Organization outing of the 2004-05 church year was Oct.16, 2004. Members and friends of the church joined to explore the handiwork of Bruce Johnson and Barbara Hagen at their homestead. They learned how Barbara and Bruce created their dream of a pleasant place to live and work--a place that receives energy from the sun and wind, and a place where they grow their own healthy food. Everyone learned something useful for life.
