Event Rental

Our church facilities provide a traditional feel for weddings and other events without the restrictions or iconography of any particular religion or ideology.  Our rental spaces provide flexibility for many different types of events and activities.

The main church building was built in 1928 - 1929 and was designed to look like a New England Congregational Church inside and out.

The Sanctuary has a center aisle leading to the pulpit. There is a balcony with two staircases leading down from each side. The Sanctuary seats up to 250 people, including the balcony seating.  The Reuter pipe organ boasts two keyboards and 24 ranks.

Minister

Each Unitarian Universalist wedding assumes its own character, based on the personalities of the people being united and the unique qualities of their relationship. Unitarian Universalist ministers strive to recognize who you are together while placing the marriage in the context of tradition, respecting your particular approach to religion and spirituality.
We celebrate commitment of couples whether or not they have a Unitarian Univer-salist background. Some couples decide to wed, despite their different faith traditions. Others are of the same sex. In these cases as well as the more traditional, we can craft a ceremony. The key is the public commitment of love and loyalty of two people to one another.
If you’re interested in a Unitarian Universalist officiant, one of our ministers may be available. If not, we can make another referral. Their services are contracted separately from the booking of the church.
Fees for ministers provided on request

Organist
